How our casino ratings work

Five stars to start, 1% off per dispute, and a colour that shows how a casino handles them.

Our ratings answer one question: what happens when something goes wrong with your money at this casino?

Stars count disputes

Every casino starts at 5.00 stars. Each dispute we publish takes 1% off. That's it, no hidden weighting. A casino with 10 published disputes sits at 4.50.

If we find a casino acting in bad faith, we can mark it as a bad actor, which drops it to 1 star until it puts things right.

Colour shows how they handle them

Stars alone would punish big casinos for being big. So each casino also gets a colour:

  • Green: solves most disputes and replies within two days
  • Yellow: solves some, or is slow to answer
  • Red: ignores or loses most disputes, takes over a week to reply, or is blacklisted

The colour updates on its own as disputes are answered, solved or left hanging.

What it doesn't measure

Ratings are about dispute handling. They don't rate game fairness, bonuses or how fun a casino is.
