Privacy policy
What we collect when you use Fair Affiliate, why we need it, and how to get it deleted.
Who we are
Fair Affiliate runs this website. We review complaints players have with online casinos, publish the ones that hold up, and rate casinos on how they handle them. If you have a question about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address, profile picture and an account ID. We use these to create your account and keep you signed in. We never see your Google password and we can't access anything else in your Google account.
When you file a complaint, we store what you type into the form: the casino, your username there, the amount and date, what happened, what you'd like to happen, any evidence links, and the messages you exchange with us and the casino on that case.
When a casino applies for certification or notifications, we store the company name, contact name, email, Telegram handle and message they send.
Technical data. Like any website, our servers and Cloudflare (which sits in front of them) see your IP address and browser details when you visit. We keep these in short-lived logs to keep the site running and stop abuse.
We don't run ads, analytics trackers or tracking pixels, and we don't buy data about you from anyone.
What becomes public
If we publish your complaint, it shows the casino and the details of the case. No name is shown: every complaint appears as "Anonymous player", and your email address is never public. Once a complaint is published, the casino it's about can see the full case, including your casino username, so they can look up your account and respond. The casino only sees your name if you ticked the box to share it.
Who else sees your data
- The casino your complaint is about, once it's published (see above).
- Our hosting providers (servers in the EU, and Cloudflare), only to run the site.
- Google, only for the sign-in itself.
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Cookies
We use one cookie, fa_session, to keep you signed in. It's removed when you sign out or after it expires. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser only and never sent to us. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as you have it. Complaints stay on the site because the record of how a casino handled a dispute is the point of the site, but if you ask, we'll stop sharing your name with the casino or take down a complaint that hasn't been published yet. Server logs are deleted after a few weeks.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
This site is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If it's a big change, we'll tell signed-in users on the site.
